Exciting End to the Dutch Tournament in the Netherlands
The Dutch Tournament, a beloved unofficial event in the sitting volleyball community, wrapped up with some amazing action this year. Hosted annually in the Netherlands, this tournament just keeps growing in popularity and tradition.
This year, 18 teams battled it out. In the women’s final, Canada and Brazil faced off in a nail-biting five-set match, with Canada taking the win and the championship. The USA secured the bronze by defeating Italy in another exciting match.
On the men’s side, Germany took home the gold after a tough match against the USA. In the fight for the bronze, Kazakhstan came out on top against Brazil.
With the tournament over, all teams are now focusing on preparing for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. The energy and passion on display at the Dutch Tournament show just how dedicated these athletes are.
