ParaVolley Pan America proudly took part in a successful Strategy Meeting alongside World ParaVolley, within the framework of the Strategic Plan 2025–2032, under the vision “Empowering Lives Through Para Volleyball.”

The meeting was led by Juergen Schrapp, President of World ParaVolley; Elvira Stinissen, Vice President; and Joe Campbell, President of ParaVolley Pan America. A total of 25 participants joined the discussion, representing our region.

Throughout the session, we addressed the key pillars of the World ParaVolley Strategic Plan 2025–2032, which is grounded in a clear mission: to lead, develop, and grow para volleyball disciplines for athletes with physical disabilities, while promoting inclusion from grassroots to elite level.

The strategic priorities discussed included:

• Strengthening leadership and governance.
• Professionalizing competition planning and delivery.
• Expanding visibility and global growth of ParaVolley.
• Developing partnerships and collaborations.
• Ensuring financial sustainability and revenue generation.

We also reviewed actions already in progress, such as competition planning toward LA 2028, the development of coaching courses, institutional agreements, compliance with IPC and WADA regulations, and ongoing applications for Brisbane 2032.

A central focus of our discussions was the continued effort to include Beach ParaVolley in the Brisbane 2032 Paralympic Games, reinforcing our commitment to expanding opportunities for athletes across all disciplines.

From ParaVolley Pan America, we sincerely thank World ParaVolley for this shared strategic space. With a clear roadmap ahead, we reaffirm our commitment to collaborative work, athlete-centered development, and sustainable growth.

Together, we move forward with purpose — strengthening our region, elevating our sport, and continuing to empower lives through ParaVolley.
